Ace of Lace

Ace of Lace

Ace of Lace by glamourgirl213 featuring platform shoes

When it comes to lace, there are a couple rules to follow:

  1.  Stick to the masters: lace can go cheap quickly if not done right, so take some cues from designers who know how to use it, like Jason Wu and Valentino.
  2. Keep it light: As a general rule of thumb, lace looks better in lighter hues (think nudes and pinks).
  3. Ground it: balance out feminine lace with substantive fabrics, but keep the overall palette airy and feminine.
